Losing a loved one can be a challenging time. If you are visiting this page, we understand that you might be looking to leave a legacy in honour of your loved one and we can support you through this.
You may wish to start a page to celebrate generosity and life of your loved one. In doing this, you can share the page you create amongst your family and friends as a request for support during this time in lieu of flowers.
Donation tributes can be made as one-off support, or through regular giving.
Create your Tribute and In Memory page hereCollecting Donations at a Funeral Service
Often we may choose to commemorate the life of a loved one through asking for donations rather than flowers following a funeral or memorial service. Guide Dogs have a 60-year long reputation for doing what’s right, and donations can support us in continuing to deliver on our mission to make a positive impact for people.
Funeral directors will often help collect donations by contacting us to supply special donation envelopes that will be available at a memorial service. Alternatively, we can send these directly to a family member.
We will send a letter and receipt to each person who chooses to make a donation in honour of your loved one as well as sending an acknowledgement to the family or Next of Kin detailing the names of those who have donated in memory of your loved one.
